Aksents is a family owned business, run by Andy & Karen Maughan. We strive to provide a no-nonsense, hassle free and professional entertainment service to customers throughout the North East of England (other areas by arrangement).

AKsents is a registered in England as a private Limited company and is also registered for VAT. Each booking is confirmed with a written contract.

AKsents prides itself in providing what the customer wants and takes time to get to know you and your musical tastes. We are happy to receive suggested playlists and indeed "don't plays".

Aksents Djs are carefully chosen and we do not subcontract any bookings, our equipment is of a high standard. Our prices reflect the quality of our product and the discerning customer will have already realised the impact the entertainment can have on their event.

Health and Safety

Health and safety comes into all events in one way or another and the onus is more and more placed on the organisers and thier agents. As part of the electrical safety regulations the "person" with the most control of the event is personally liable for ensuring that all electrical equipment in use at the event is in good order and safe to use. AKsents electrical equipment is all PAT tested for your safety and certificates are available should you require.
